Precipitadores electrostáticos húmedos (WESP) offer efficient emission control for submicron particles, heavy metals, acid mists, and oil mists. Wet electrostatic filtration technology is an improvement over the Wet Scrubber system, with the important advantage of combining the removal of coarse particles (Ø> 20 • m), through a pre-washing treatment, with the reduction of the micron and submicron fraction of the residue (in the form of mist, for example, oil mist), responsible for the visual opacity that often manifests as a "blue smoke" easily visible from great distances. By introducing a pre-moistened washing section, it is possible to prevent clogging of the aforementioned electrostatic collection section (due to the coarse fraction of particles), with obvious advantages in terms of cleaning efficiency and system removal. With this machinery, no smoke is seen coming out. This is an advantage for the population surrounding the factory.
